If you're looking for a sweet, refreshing drink to keep in the fridge during the summer, how about a big jug of lemonade iced tea. This non-alcoholic drink became known in the 1960's as the Arnold Palmer, named for a famous golfer at the time. It's an inexpensive drink to keep in the fridge and beats the kids chugging down the soda in the summertime heat.
3 quarts water
9 tea bags
3/4 cups sugar
1 can (12 oz) frozen lemonade
Bring water to a boil. Remove from the heat and steep tea bags in the water for 5 min. Discard the tea bags and stir in the sugar and lemonade concentrate. Store in the fridge, makes 12 servings.
