Book Review - What's in a Word by Webb Garrison

Although an interesting premise, this book was unfortunately completely unenjoyable. I usually enjoy books and stories on how word's evolve, however, the writing in this one is dry, humorless and boring. The first book from Thomas Nelson that I couldn't enjoy at all. The stories are promoted to be witty and surprising, similar to Paul Harvey's monologes, however, they don't even come close. I definitely would not recommend spending money on this one. Not even a good bathroom read.
