The Government and It's Lies
Lies the Government Told You is broken up into 17 sections. Each one devoted to one particular lie the government has forced upon the American public. Each section is focuses on both constitutional subjects such as the right to bear arms and the freedom of speech and also government media propaganda such as "We are Winning the War on Drugs." A comprehensive index in the back makes the book a valuable study reference.
I was initially distrustful of the book before reading it. I felt the book might be full of trumped up or un-backable charges against or government. However I found it to be an insightful and well researched read. Each section has a well researched argument full of indisputable evidence. Could we possibly deny the slave trade or the the Bush vs. Gore election as happening? Andrew Napolitano is extremely convincing in his arguments, coupled with the fact that he is quite obviously very experienced in the subject. The writing is also easy to read and doesn't come off as dry or boring. An excellent book on government politics.
