Product Review: Survival Seeds

I've been thinking about setting up a survival kit soon. My Mom has this amazing kit. It's in a airtight plastic chest in her back yard and it has everything you can think of, water, first aid supplies, food and more. She's constantly updating it and making sure it's full and everything in it is fresh. I want one just like it for my house. I just have to figure out where to put it in my tiny little apartment space.

I just got a great starter to it in the mail. Joni from Hometown Seeds was kind enough to send me a package of their survivial seeds. Each package includes 16 easy to grow vegetables like onions, carrots, beans, corn etc... So if that 2012 disaster actually hits, you can grow your own food for your loved ones. Or you could plant them all now and have food to eat, can and store throughout the year.

Here are some of the other features of the product:

• Know that your family will have food during a crisis.
• Includes an in-depth instruction booklet.
• Enough seeds to plant 3/4 of an acre!
• Non-Hybrid seeds produce true to variety seeds to replant for future harvests.
• Optimum water content to increase storage life.
• Double water tight packaging.
• 5yr. minimum shelf life, up to 10 yrs. if frozen.
• Hometown seeds is 100% GMO free!
• Makes a great addition to your food storage.
• Nearly 1 1/2 lbs. of premium seed.

Keep watching my site because I'll be having a contest soon where you can win your own pack of survival seeds!
